This is the first time that I've used 2 colors and carried both up the sides...a lot easier than I thought it would be! I kept each color in a separate baggie so they wouldn't get tangled so bad, and it seemed to work well.
I wasn't sure that I would finish the August mid-month cloth....had never done cables before. But they're a lot easier than I ever imagined! Had so much fun with it that I've now made 3 of them!!
The pink one was done with SnC stripes and the orange one was done with PnC. Yes, the pink one is a little shorter because I ran out of yarn.
I made this cloth with Knit Pick's Cotlin yarn. I know the detail isn't very good in the picture (lousy camera), but the yarn is really nice to work with. It's just a little thinner than PnC or SnC...maybe a DK weight. No matter, I *like* it!
Here are pics of the 48" S-Loom made by CinDWood. The lapghan on it at the time was made with Red Heart Super Saver in Wedgewood. Now that it's finished, I can hardly get it away from my mom!
